Clinical outcomes of transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy to treat low to moderate myopic astigmatism
BMC Ophthalmology May 24, 2018
Xi L, et al. - Authors assessed the refractive and visual outcomes of transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (TransPRK) in the treatment of low to moderate myopic astigmatism. In the correction of low to moderate astigmatism and myopia, effective and predictable results were demonstrated with TransPRK. Uncorrected distance visual acuity of 20/20 or better was seen in all eyes at 6 months after TransPRK, no eyes lost ≥2 lines of corrected distant visual acuity (CDVA), and residual refractive cylinder within ±0.50D of intended correction was seen in 93.6%.
