Clinical outcomes of the modified Brostrom technique in the management of chronic ankle instability after early, intermediate, and delayed presentation

Hassan S, et al. - Experts presented the outcomes for patients who underwent ligament repair using the modified Brostrom technique (MBT) for the management of chronic ankle instability after early, intermediate, and delayed presentation, from a single-surgeon retrospective study of consecutive patients. A stable ankle joint at final follow-up visit was seen in all the patients. Good clinical outcomes and satisfaction after the MBT were seen in the patients with persistent or chronic ankle instability, irrespective of the time from injury to the presentation.
