Clinical features of infectious keratitis caused by Propionibacterium acnes

Lim SA, et al. – This research examined the infectious keratitis cultured with P. acnes and investigated its clinical characteristics. Based on the results, it was reported that infectious keratitis with P. acnes was not uncommon. It could be confused with other Gram–positive cocci. Hence, P. acnes ought to be suspected in small–sized keratitis with an unusually long incubation period.
