Jo T, et al. – Experts wanted to reveal chronic kidney disease in long–term survivors after allogeneic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT). As compared to patients without chronic kidney disease (CKD), patients with CKD had lower overall survival rate (HR 4.11, 95% CI 1.3–13.0). For long–term survivors after allo–HSCT, careful monitoring of renal function was required, especially in patients who had experienced acute kidney injury (AKI) and in older patients.
