Choroidal changes associated with serous macular detachment in eyes with staphyloma, dome-shaped macula or tilted disk syndrome
Retina Aug 10, 2017
Tan ACS, et al. – The correlation between choroidal abnormalities with serous retinal detachment (SRD) was investigated, in eyes with staphyloma, dome–shaped macula, or tilted disk syndrome. It was inferred that an abrupt transition in choroidal thickness could be involved in the pathogenesis of SRD. In few cases, a radial scan pattern could better illustrate mild SRD, choroidal contours and the focal choroidal variations than horizontal or vertical raster scan patterns.
