CD47 expression in Epstein-Barr virus-associated gastric carcinoma: Coexistence with tumor immunity lowering the ratio of CD8+/Foxp3+ T cells

Virchows Archiv Mar 19, 2018

Abe H, et al. - The significance of CD47 in Epstein-Barr virus-associated gastric carcinoma (EBVaGC) was determined compared with EBV-negative gastric cancer, and an analysis of the correlation with various immune cells was performed. CD47 lowered anti-tumor immunity in EBVaGC via infiltrating T cells. CD47 presented as an additional target for cancer immunotherapy against this virus-driven gastric cancer.
