Skjorten I, et al. - Researchers presumed that cardiopulmonary exercise test (CPET) combined with arterial blood gases is useful to discriminate between COPD outpatients with and without pulmonary hypertension (PH). In this study, it was demonstrated that during CPET, low exercise performance and PaO2 strongly suggested PH in COPD patients.
