Carboxytherapy for treatment of localized chronic plaque psoriasis: Clinical and histopathologic evaluation

Kamel AM, et al. - The safety and efficacy of carboxytherapy were comprehensively inspected by the authors in the treatment of chronic localized plaque psoriasis. Therapeutic success of carboxytherapy was reported in 26.6% patients as revealed by investigator's global assessment and total sign score. Furthermore, the absence of perilesional erythema was illustrated in 70% of the enrollees. Findings displayed patient satisfaction with no side effects. In 83.3% of the improved patients, the recurrence area fell within 1% -10% of the baseline area.
