Stumpf C, et al. – This paper coveted an assessment of the assumption that peak C–reactive protein (CRP) levels could speculate heart failure (HF) in ST–elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients. The results illustrated that peak CRP levels in STEMI patients speculated the emergence of HF. Peak CRP served as a strong predictor of global and cardiovascular mortality during the following year after STEMI.
