Yonezawa D, et al. - The authors explored the histological and histomorphometrical outcomes of delayed load on healing at implants with a moderately rough surface. No statistically significant differences were yielded by the application of a delayed load to the implants supporting single crowns. Compared with the unloaded sites, loaded sites revealed a tendency of higher osseointegration and bone density.
