Yatabe M, et al. – Physicians designed this study to 3–dimensionally evaluate the treatment results of bone–anchored maxillary protraction (BAMP) in patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate. It was observed in the findings that BAMP caused similar amounts of maxillary protraction in patients with and without unilateral cleft lip and palate with discrete differences between the cleft side and the noncleft side.
