Biological variation of extracellular matrix biomarkers in patients with stable chronic heart failure
Clinical Research in Cardiology Aug 12, 2017
Tager T, et al. – This study analyzed the biological changes of extracellular matrix (ECM) biomarkers in patients with stable chronic heart failure. It appeared to vary in terms of individual biomarkers and time intervals. The matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) were probably most suitable for serial biomarker measurements. This was attributed to the biological variation being low, regardless of the time interval between measurements.
