Jeyaraman MM, et al. - This comprehensive inspection was carried out on the efficacy and safety of intracoronary administration of autologous bone marrow stem cell (BMSC) therapy in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients following the primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PPCI). A conclusive evidence was yielded with regard to a paucity of the beneficial effect of autologous BMSC therapy in patients with STEMI, as revealed by the outcomes from 42 RCTs published in the past 15 years.
