Bloch KE, et al. - Long-term efficacy of automatic mask pressure adjustment (autoCPAP) in improving sleepiness in patients with obstructive sleep apnoea syndrome (OSAS) was compared with that of continuous positive airway pressure set at a fixed level (fCPAP). With similar costs, autoCPAP and fCPAP were equivalent within prespecified ranges in improving subjective and objective sleepiness in these subjects over the course of 2 years.
