Association of TNFSF4 rs1234315, rs2205960 polymorphisms and systemic lupus erythematosus susceptibility: A meta-analysis
Lupus Sep 02, 2019
Wang JM, et al. - Experts investigated the correlation between tumor necrosis factor superfamily number 4 (TNFSF4) rs1234315, rs2205960 polymorphisms, and SLE susceptibility. A total of five studies about rs1234315 polymorphism were involved (6,575 cases, 14,798 controls). In overall individuals and Asians, meta-analysis exhibited important relationships between the T allele and SLE. In all individuals and Europeans, relative to the rs2205960 polymorphism, notable correlations between the T allele and SLE were discovered. Results also demonstrated important relations between the additive model and SLE in all individuals and Asians. Moreover, in all individuals and Asians, between the dominant model and SLE, important correlations were detected. Important relations were seen between the recessive model and SLE in overall individuals and Asians. Hence, the present study proposed that TNFSF4 rs1234315 and rs2205960 polymorphisms were related to SLE susceptibility.
