Association of change in waist circumference and dyslipidemia risk: The rural Chinese cohort study
Diabetes/Metabolism Research and Reviews Sep 13, 2017
Zhou J, et al. - This study was carried out to examine the association of change in waist circumference (WC) and incidence of dyslipidemia in a Chinese population. Findings revealed that the dynamic change in WC was closely associated with the incidence of dyslipidemia in this population. WC reduction could decrease dyslipidemia risk, whereas WC increase might increase the risk. Hence, new interventions were required to control or reduce WC for early prevention of dyslipidemia.
