Association of advanced glycation end products in Dupuytren disease
Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research Jun 14, 2018
Takase F, et al. - Authors gauged the relationship of Dupuytren’s disease with advanced glycation end products. Free radicals were produced by the advanced glycation end products receptor for advanced glycation end products interaction via nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase activation in Dupuytren’s disease patients. Compared to the control group, Dupuytren’s disease group demonstrated higher expression of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase oxidase-1 and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate oxidase-4 as well as reactive oxygen species modulator 1, an oxidatively damaged protein.
