The International Journal of Prosthodontics Sep 04, 2017

Montero J, et al. – This cross–sectional study aimed to examine the oral health–related quality of life (OHRQoL) among subjects with typical, atypically positive, and atypically negative personality trait scores within the five basic dimensions of personality (neuroticism, extroversion, openness, agreeableness, and conscientiousness). Researchers reported that the risk of perceiving an impact on OHRQoL was significantly higher in people perceiving treatment needs and increases proportionally to the number of negatively atypical personality traits.
