Simopoulou M, et al. - Authors ascertained the probable relationship between seminal plasma levels of growth hormone (GH) and insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) and sperm parameters. They determined the seminal plasma concentrations of IGF-1 and GH by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). As per data, levels of GH had a statistically significant positive correlation with IGF-1 in group C. Men with low sperm concentration, vitality, volume and abnormal morphology also demonstrated the above relationship.
