Anyanwagu U, et al. - The aim of this study was to explore the correlations of insulin-induced weight (wt) gain on cardio vascular outcomes and mortality amongst patients with type of diabetes (T2D) following insulin initiation using real-world data. The results of this study displayed that insulin-induced weight-gain did not translate to adverse CV outcomes and mortality in patients with T2D. This research serves reassurance on the cardiovascular safety of insulin patients with T2D.
