Ye H, et al. - A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted to determine the association between female genital mycoplasma and human papillomavirus (HPV) infections, abnormal cervical cytopathology, and cervical cancer. U. urealyticum and M. genitalium increased the risk of high-risk HPV infection, while U. urealyticum, U. parvum, and M. hominis increased the risk of abnormal cervical cytopathology.
