Nephrology Dec 14, 2017

Ramanathan G, et al. - In a south Indian population with DN, the impact of the C677T and A1298C polymorphisms on the CKD progression was determined. In this population, the C677T and A1298C polymorphism of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene was found to be associated with diabetic nephropathy. This work yielded evidence that the C677T polymorphism was associated with CKD progression in DN.
