Lee JY, et al. - This study assessed the impacts of aqua walking (AW) versus traditional over-ground walking on coronary artery disease (CAD) and cardiorespiratory fitness in older adults with osteoarthritis in the lower extremity. It appeared that AW was a feasible alternative exercise modality to over-ground walking for cardiac rehabilitation. In older adults with CAD and osteoarthritis, AW can be recommended.
