Wong BB, et al. – The effectiveness of cold cabbage leaves was compared with cold gel packs application for the management of pain, hardness, and temperature due to breast engorgement. Both cold cabbage leaves and cold gel packs had potential to relieve pain and hardness in breast engorgement. However, cold cabbage leaves had a better effect, hence, could be recommended to postnatal mothers to manage breast engorgement.
