Sathyapalan T, et al. - Researchers aim to define the role of Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) in the classical phenotype of PCOS within a Caucasian population. Despite having poor sensitivity, an elevated AMH seems to have four-fold more frequent association with a diagnosis of PCOS, and supplementary to biochemical parameters can make a positive diagnosis of PCOS in 22% of patients when neither serum testosterone or free androgen index are elevated.
