Sato S, et al. - This study investigated the impacts of nintedanib on the functions of fibrocytes. Findings supported the role of fibrocytes as producers of and responders to growth factors. Data also indicated that nintedanib's anti-fibrotic impacts were at least partly mediated by suppression of fibrocyte function.
