Accuracy of Alcon WaveLight® EX500 optical pachymetry during LASIK

Mifflin MD, et al. – The accuracy and reliability of optical pachymetry utilizing the Alcon WaveLight EX500 amid laser–assisted in situ keratomileusis (LASIK) were studied in this research. In light of these outcomes, flap thickness (FT) values calculated utilizing intraoperative EX500 optical pachymetry were significantly lower than programmed FS200 values or optical coherence tomography (OCT) measurements.
