Rocha AC, et al. - Experts conducted a randomized, double-blind clinical trial to evaluate the influence of different dentin surface treatments in noncarious cervical lesions (NCCLs). At 36 month, similar clinical performance in terms of marginal discoloration, marginal adaptation, and postoperative sensitivity was demonstrated by the studied dentin surface treatments and conventional technique. Conversely, a higher risk of failure due to retention over time in composite Class V restorations was led by increased acid-etching time.
