Mengatto CM, et al. – A randomized clinical trial was performed with the aim to test the hypothesis that there are no statistically significant differences after three and six months in masticatory performance or chewing ability of individuals with new complete dentures made by an abbreviated or a conventional technique. The authors did not find significant differences in masticatory performance or chewing ability after six months between complete dentures made by a conventional or an abbreviated technique.
