A randomized controlled study comparing guided bone regeneration with connective tissue graft to re-establish convexity at the buccal aspect of single implants: A one-year CBCT analysis

Journal of Clinical Periodontology Aug 27, 2018

De Bruyckere T, et al. - In order to re-establish convexity at the buccal aspect of single implants, researchers compared the guided bone regeneration (GBR) with connective tissue graft (CTG). Within the limitations of superimposed CBCT images, findings suggested the efficacy of GBR and CTG to re-establish convexity at the buccal aspect of single implants in the short term. Healthy clinical conditions were demonstrated by the implants with no significant differences between the groups for any of the parameters.
