Tamanji M.T, et al. – This study was designed to gauge the renal function capacity of hypertensive patients in the setting. The investigation suggested that renal function was often perturbed in hypertensive patients. In addition, good blood pressure control seemed to reduce the progression of renal impairment. These outcomes suggested that a systematic evaluation of renal function in addition to blood pressure control in hypertensive patients was indispensable towards effectively reducing the occurrence of renal events and preventing end–stage renal disease.
