Q1. Do cancer patients with COVID-19 infection have poorer survival?
Wenhua Liang, Weijie Guan, Ruchong Chen et al have published in Lancet Oncology that patients with cancer are at higher risk of COVID-19 infection, increasing the chance of requiring hospital admission and have poorer survival - when compared to people without cancer. [1]
