Dr. Rajeev Chawla (Senior Diabetologist and Director of North Delhi Diabetes Centre, New Delhi)
- He has done his MD, FRCP Edin (UK), FRSSDI, FACP, and FACE(USA) and was Trained at the Diabetes & Endocrinology Centre of Western New York
- He is also a visiting professor at JLN Medical College & KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research, Belgavi, Karnataka
- He has been an editor in chief at the International Journal of Diabetes in Developing Countries & 5th RSSDI Text Book of Diabetes
- He has about 25 years of experience as a DNB Teacher and Guide
- Dr has published more than 105 papers related to his work on Micro and Macrovascular Complications
- He was awarded an AACE Travel grant twice for a Master Class paper, where 18 orations were awarded
- He is an Executive Core Committee member of IADPSG
- He has been the scientific chairperson of 10th world congress of Diabetes India 2017 & RSSDI 2018
