About the presenter:
Dr Dileep Punde is a Consultant Physician M.D. (General Medicine), Aurangabad
- He has worked as a Medical Officer at Rural Hospital, Mukhed from 1988 to 1997
- He is presently working in his own set-up at “Punde Hospital Mukhed” Since 1997
- Dr Punde has managed 7500 bite cases to date
- He has been included in the Roaster of Expert for Snakebite Envenoming by WHO 2021
- He has spoken on Snake Bite titled Crusade Against Snake Bite Poisoning in 18th IST World Congress at Oxford (UK) on 29/09/2015
- His work has been appreciated by Prof David Warell, Oxford (UK) and Dr Gopalkrishna Kone Ex-president of International society of Toxinology, Singapore
- He has been the Chairman of Snake bite subcommittee IMA Maharashtra 2021
- He has spoken on the management of snake bite as a faculty in various regional, state, national and international conferences
- He has been the Member of National Standard Treatment Guidelines (STG) committee of India for Snake bite
- Dr Punde has conducted free camps of Mass awareness Education programmes for the society about snake bite and 5,00,000 (5 lac) people have been educated till now
- He has trained 120 Doctors about Snake bite management at Punde Hospital
