Dr. Nirmala Shireesh Dharap is a consultant paediatrician at Dharap Children's Clinic in Pune since 1991

• She has been in the medical field for more than 35 years
• She has been a panel consultant at several leading hospitals including Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Ratna Hospital, etc.
• She has been on the faculty of Pune IAP conferences & National conferences on topics in paediatrics including Vaccinology, Nutrition, Rational Antibiotic Therapy and Adolescence & Developmental Pediatrics
• She has presented several research papers at regional conferences of IAP & BJMC as well as the national conference of IAP
• She has been an honorary paediatrician at the Community Clinic of Sneh Foundation between 2017-2020 & Shanti Clinic in Pune between 1994-1996
• She was a president of Pune IAP in 2014, during which she launched the Annual Conference of Pune IAP called "Pune Pedimeet", a flagship annual event since then
• She has been a secretary of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics in Pune between 2003-2004 & 2007-2008
• She has been a vice president of IAP in Pune (2012-2013)
• She has been a part of an organizing committee of NCPID 2005, Mahapedicon 2009 & 2019, PHOCON 2009, Respicon 2012, PediGen 2012, PedGastrocon 2008 AND 2013, ADOLESCON 2013, NeuroPedicon 2014, PIDquest 2014, Pune Pedimeet since 2014 to present, etc.
• She has completed scholarship training in Pediatrics & Neonatology at Sackler Faculty of Medicine from Israel, Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutirtion (PGPN) of Boston University 2017 & also in Adolescent Nutrition (PGAN) of Boston University 2021 and Certificate Course in Child Counseling & Parenting of BKWSC, Pune - 2021
