About the presenter:
Dr. Srikanth Rao is a Senior Consultant and professor in Radiation Oncology at Gandhi Medical College / MNJ Institute of Oncology & RCC
- Dr. Rao has completed his MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, M.D(Radiation oncology) from Osmania Medical College/MNJIO & RCC, Hyderabad
- He has attended several conferences, seminars, workshops, etc. in radiation oncology. Which also includes national annual conferences and AROI-ESTRO conferences on conformal methods of radiotherapy
- He has also attended cancer screening camps in the local areas and delivered cancer awareness talks on local TV channels
- He was also a coinvestigator in the investigator meet on a trial of lapatanib and pazopanib in Ca.Cervix at Vienna, Austria
- He was treasurer of the AROI AP chapter in 2008 and is currently the president of Telangana chapter of AROI
- One of his publications includes: “A Comparative Study of Conventional and CT-based Planning of Target Volumes and Organs at Risk in Intracavitary brachytherapy for carcinoma of Cervix” International Archives of Integrated Medicine, vol. 3, Issue 9, September 2016
