Dr. Sanjay Vaidya (Consultant Plastic and Diabetic foot surgeon attached to the S. L. Raheja Hospital, P. D. Hinduja Hospital - Mahim, Khar,& Lilavati Hospital)

• He has completed his MS (General Surgery), MCh (Plastic Surgery), FICS, and PG. Diploma Laser Medicine (Russia)
• He was a Professor and examiner for Fellowship in Diabetic Foot Surgery, MUHS & a treasurer in the Diabetic Foot Society of India (DFSI)
• Dr Vaidya is a Vice President of the Asia Pacific Association for Diabetic Foot Problems (APADLP)
• He was a Project Manager for the “National Wound Care Project”, an initiative of the World Diabetic Foundation conducted by the Diabetic Foot Society of India
• He acquired the "Post Graduate Diploma in Laser Medicine & Surgery" from Russia
• He is a Member of the group to develop Standard Treatment Guidelines for Diabetic Foot, by the Ministry of Health, Government of India
• He has given numerous talks at National and International conferences as a faculty member
• He was an Organising Chairman of the 20th Diabetic Foot Society of India DFSICON 2022 and the 18th Asia Pacific Association of Diabetic Limb Problems
• Dr Vaidya is a Founder of “Feet First Clinic - Advanced Foot Care and Wound Management Centre”
• He has also received a Guinness World Record Award for participating in foot sensation testing pan India conducted by the Diabetic Foot Society of India
• He is an Organising Chairman for the upcoming 21st DFSICON 2024 along with the 10th Conference of IADFS and D-Foot International
