Dr. Sreelatha R is a Professor & HOD (IHBT Dept.), at Victoria Hospital, Bangalore

• MBBS & MD (Pathology) from Bangalore University and President of Karnataka Chapter ISBTI
• She started her teaching career from 1992 onwards in various cadres till now and has had a vast experience as a Teacher cum Doctor in Private as well in Government Institutions
• She has guided the MBBS students in ICMR & KYS projects, MD pathology, Immuno Haematology & Blood Transfusion Students
• She was appointed as MCI & NMC Inspector & Observer to many colleges all over India and as an external examiner & sent Question papers to NTR, MGR, RGUHS, Kerala & many other Universities too
• She presented oral presentations at State, National & International level Conferences & CMEs in both Pathology & IHBT subjects
• She worked as Chief & Co-Investigator in National & International Projects including the ICMR PROJECT during the Covid pandemic time
• She has taken an interest in paper publication in National Journals in Pathology as well as IHBT
• She has motivated many students & public by laying down the importance of becoming a blood donor to save their own lives before thinking of saving others' lives
• She was awarded as a recipient of a Lifetime Award at the National level by ISBTI
• She has also taken an interest in sports, yoga, singing, and dancing to win many awards in Intercollege sports for doctors, such as Best Player in the throwball tournament, short-put, javelin throw, and running races
• She is the present President of Karnataka Chapter ISBTI
