- She has completed her Mbbs & MD Microbiology in Medical Science from Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Srinagar
- Her expertise includes Hospital Infection Control, COVID-19 Diagnosting Testing & Teaching
- She has work experience in different Units like tertiary care hospitals, Kidney Transplant Units & Operation Theatres
- She has also worked in the Clinical Microbiology department.
- She has also collaborated with the faculty members to develop inner teaching methods for engaging students in the class setting
