- He is the Director of Research and Education, National Allergy Asthma Bronchitis Institute, Kolkata
- He chairs the Training and Education Initiatives at Indian Chest Society
- He is the ICS National Representative for the ERS
- He is the Governing Body Member of the Indian Chest Society and Indian Academy of Bronchology
- He is the Joint Secretary of the Indian Academy of Allergy and the founder of Member South East Asian Academy of Sleep Medicine
- He is the Coordinator for the DNB course for the last 5 years which is the first DNB respiratory course in Bengal
