- He is the president of AIAARO (Indian Obesity Society)
- He is the vice president of DASG (Diabetes in Asia Study Group)
- He is the secretary of the Indian Academy of diabetes and the secretary of Diabetes India
- He has recently launched a project “Diabetes Free India – 2030”, which is acknowledged by the Hon’ble past president of India-Shri Pranab Mukherjee
- He is an advisory board member of JAPI (Journal of Association of Physicians of India), vice president (DASG), International journal for medicine & public health, Journal of nutrition & nutraceuticals, Journal of Obesity & Metabolic Research (JOMR)
