About the presenter:

Dr. Jimmy Patel is a Senior Resident in the Department of Medical Gastroenterology, Madras Medical College, Chennai.
- He has done DNB General Medicine from Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi (2019 to 2022).
- He has completed his DM Gastroenterology from Madras Medical College, Chennai.
- He is a lifetime member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology (ISG).
- He has presented a poster at TNISGCON 2023 - "Trends of high-resolution manometric findings in patients presenting at GI motility clinic of a tertiary care health facility" - a case series of 125 patients.
- He is also keen in Advanced therapeutic endoscopy, including EUS, ERCP and POEM ( 3rd space procedures) and Hepatobiliary, IBD and Liver transplant patients.
- He has completed his MRCP Part 1 & 2.
- Dr. Patel's work experience includes being a Clinical Associate at Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, Delhi.
- He has also worked as a Senior Resident at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Delhi.
- He completed the Cleveland Clinic Advanced Certificate Course in Diabetes in 2018 and also did a thesis in DNB, "A Prospective Observational Study of Clinical Spectrum and Outcomes of Acute Undifferentiated Febrile Illness."
