Health and Family welfare Department of the territorial administration on 1st August organized a rally to mark the celebrations of World Breast Feeding Week in Puducherry.

Over 100 school students took part in the rally and went round the town with placards highlighting the importance of breast feeding.
Meanwhile,the Department of Neonatology in coordination with other stake holders (Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Department of Pediatrics and the College of Nursing) also organized several programmes such as rally, role play, poster and quiz to mark the week long celebrations.
