Three injured as part of plaster of ceiling falls in Thane civil hospital

A woman and two infants were injured when a part of plaster of the ceiling at the gynaecology ward of the civil hospital in Thane fell on them on June 19 night.
The patients at the gynac ward of the civil hospital here had a miraculous escape tonight when a part of plaster of the ceiling fell on them, however, three people, including a young woman and two infants, were injured in this incident and they are being treated at the hospital, the sources in Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said.
A 22-year old woman and two infants- 1 month and 5 days old, suffered injuries. Immediately after the incident, the occupants of the ward including the kids and their mothers, were moved out of the ward to other places. The remaining structure of the hospital building was in a dangerous condition, sources added.
