With a 60-year-old woman succumbing to swine flu in Indore on March 21, the district toll since January 1 rose to 41, an Integrated Disease Surveillance Programme official said.

Twenty of the fatalities comprised people who came from other places for treatment. Of the 644 blood samples dispatched for analysis, 152 tested positive.
