Dr Mahalakshmi Saravanan, founder of ARC Inernational Fertility and Research Centre, performed a Guinness record for educating about female fertility.

The centre, a leader in fertility medicine, has been the top choice for couples to undergo IVF and IUI Treatments. It has also been credited with performing the highest number of IVF cycles in India and many couples were blessed as parents due to the stellar work done by its Founders Dr. Saravanan Lakshmanan and Dr Mahalakshmi Saravanan.

The hospital has been a host to around one crore visitors from across the globe and couples visiting ARC from different parts of the world was a testament to their treatment quality. In December 2017, ARC Chairman Dr Saravanan Lakshmanan performed the Guinness Record for doing the ‘first ever fertility awareness campaign for men’. Following her husband’s footsteps, Dr Mahalakshmi Saravanan performed a Guinness Record by conducting a fertility awareness campaign for women in the city on Tuesday.

She spoke at length on various issues like causes of female infertility, available treatment options, dietary guidance and other precautionary steps. Her speech was filled with useful insights that were never discussed in public forums. This speech on awareness by Dr Mahalakshmi Saravanan also made its official entry into the Asia Book of Records. The certificate and reward were given by Abirami Ramanathan and Mrs Nallammai Ramanathan, who also lauded the good work done by her.
