Renovated OT complex, ICU of Military hospital inaugurated

The renovated Operation Theatre (OT) Complex and Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Military Hospital, Secunderabad was inaugurated by Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Sub Area General officer Commanding (GOC) Major General N Srinivas Rao, on March 2.
The new OT complex is a modern, modular OT with state-of-the-art air flow, ventilation, filtration and air conditioning systems incorporated, a Defence release said. Various surgeries including General surgery, Laparoscopy, Sutureless Cataract surgeries, Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeries, Gynaecology, ENT and Maxillofacial surgeries are performed in MH Secunderabad by highly trained teams.
The renovated 12 bedded ICU with advanced life support equipment and infrastructure has had its Central Air Conditioning System of the ICU was replaced. The GOC congratulated the Military Engineering Service (MES) officers and staff for their quality work and for completing the projects in time.
He also congratulated all the Doctors, Nurses and staff of Military Hospital Secunderabad, for their monitoring of the works and their hard work. The event was attended by senior military officers of Secunderabad and Hyderabad stations.
