A team of J&K Bank on May 9 seized a private hospital after it failed to repay back an outstanding loan amount.

A team of J&K Bank assisted by police and administration men, this afternoon, sealed one Aastha Nursing Home at Kathua. Bank officials said that an amount of Rs 1.37 crore was outstanding from hospital side and despite giving reminders and warnings, it was not returned. "We have taken the action today and whenever the loan amount or the required installment is paid, the hospital will be allowed to open," they added.
