Dr. Meghanathan, who recently received an award for topping in Paediatrics, expressed his wish to set up a children's hospital in his village.

The doctor mentioned that it was the lack of medical facilities near his village that drove him to pursue medicine and now he would like to go back to serve the people of his village. Other doctors who were awarded were Dr. Snehkrian Raghuvanshi for MDS (Prosthodontics) and Dr. Arohi Gupta who received a gold medal for paediatrics.
