Congress seems to be back on its political vendetta in the state as the party has claimed for the betterment of the facilities in the hospital and has placed deputation for the same in the bordering subdivision of Gandacharra in the northern Tripura district of Dhalai recently.

The Block Congress committee for 49 Raima valley in the northern Tripura has placed nine point of charter of demands for the betterment of services and facilities in the subdivisional hospital. They have demanded for providing specialists in gynecology, pediatric and medicine departments, introduction of ultrasonography, digital X-Ray and to increase number of beds from 50 to 100 and others. The Sub Divisional Medical Officer (SDMO) has assured the delegation to knock the higher authorities about the demands. However, the political analysts have traced it as a significant move for Congress prior to the Lok Sabha poll.
